Look up info on tuning up a plane. A Buck plane will need a lot of work to get the parts to fit right, to enable the plane to work right. Basicly, where parts meet, they have to have perfect contact, and the blade has to be very, very sharp. I had a Buck Bro. bench plane and it was junk. pray tonight
