I’m also somewhat interest in the AMEX Blue Cash Preferred instead of the Citi Custom Cash as it can help with both gas and grocery, but not sure if it’s worth the AF compared to the CCC. WebNot sure that all issuers would do so. Depends entirely on how it's coded at the individual store, sometimes even the specific register. Citi will not have a "master list" of grocery stores. Most chain grocers will code as grocery. If you want to test, buy an item for a dollar and see what happens.
